Meet Penelope Hatter

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner (PMHP)
I’m so glad you ended up on my page. I believe therapy can be deeply helpful because the stories we tell ourselves are often shaped by pain, self-doubt, and self-criticism. Over time, those stories can influence our behaviors, communication, relationships, and daily lives in ways that keep us feeling stuck. We may begin to self-sabotage because the story we carry tells us we aren’t good enough.

I’m passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples redefine their stories, reconnect with their inner strengths, and find greater peace. When we are able to recognize our worth and reconnect with our values, we can create more meaning in our daily lives, our relationships, and the relationship we have with ourselves.

My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space where you can begin rewriting your story into one that feels more grounded, hopeful, and fulfilling. My approach is rooted in compassion and trauma-informed care. I have over 10 years of experience providing mental health services to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, sexual orientations, and religious and spiritual beliefs.

My experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, women’s issues, postpartum concerns, the transition into motherhood, and relationship challenges. I am also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner.

I’m honored to have the opportunity to be part of your story and to support you as you move toward the life you deserve. I offer couples therapy, anxiety therapy, depression therapy, perinatal mental health care, postpartum depression therapy, and trauma therapy.
