Meet Penelope Hatter

Marriage and Family Therapist, MA, LMFT

The story we often tell ourselves can be negative and self destructive. From there we create negative patterns in our behaviors, communication, relationships, and daily lives. We self-sabotage because the story we tell ourselves says, “we aren’t good enough.”

I have a strong passion in helping individuals, families, and couples redefine their stories, rediscover their inner strengths, and find inner peace. When we are able to see our self worth and reconnect with our values, we are able to create more meaning in our daily lives and relationships, especially the relationship we have with ourselves.

My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space to rewrite your story into one that brings excitement and joy. I create a safe space that stems from compassion and trauma informed care. I have eight years experience providing mental health services to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, different sexual orientations, and various religious/spiritual beliefs. My experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, women’s specific issues that include trauma, postpartum, transitioning into motherhood, and relationships.

I am honored to have the opportunity to be part of your story and guide you along the way in writing the life story you deserve.  I offer couples therapy, anxiety therapy, depression therapy, postpartum depression therapy and trauma therapy.
